ATTENTION PLYMPTON RESIDENTS:

MassDEP is offering private well owners an opportunity to receive free testing for Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) compounds in communities where 60% or more of the consumers use private wells, like Plympton

Free testing is available to residents in Plympton on a first-come, first-served basis. Residents in areas that have been identified as being at particular potential risk for PFA’s will receive cards by mail encouraging them to apply. However, all residents of Plympton are eligible to apply.

This free testing is part of a larger effort by MassDEP to identify potentially contaminated water sources across the state.
