Yesterday the Conference Committee on An Act Setting Next Generation Climate Policy released its report. The legislation mobilizes the collective powers of the Department of Public Utilities, the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center, the Department of Energy Resources, and other agencies concerned with our energy resiliency to steer the Commonwealth to meet its “net-zero” emissions goals by the year 2050. Climate change is the most important crisis of the 21st century and this bill ensures that we in Massachusetts are doing our part!
