East Bridgewater– Governor Baker has signed into law An Act Establishing An East Bridgewater Sewer District. With local approval by vote of the town of East Bridgewater, filed in the Massachusetts Legislature by Senators’ Michael D. Brady, Walter Timilty, and Representatives Michelle DuBois, this legislation establishes an East Bridgewater Sewer District.

The newly minted East Bridegwater Sewer District will include the land and buildings located in the town center. Served by the East Bridgewater High School sewer treatment facility, the area contained in the district may be expanded by a vote of the board of selectmen and approval by town meeting.

“I, along with my colleagues Senator Brady and Representative DuBois, believe that these infrastructure improvements are crucial to the economic development of East Bridgewater.  The inclusion of the Board of Selectmen in this process will only work to stimulate economic growth here in East Bridgewater.”  Said Senator Walter Timilty
