Today, April 28th Governor Baker extended the COVID-19 Essential Services Order to May 18th. Business’s and organizations that are not considered to provide “COVID-19 Essential Services” are asked to keep their physical workplaces and facilities closed to both employees and the public.

Additionally, the Department of Public Health’s stay-at-home advisory will remain in effect. Residents are strongly urged to stay at home and avoid unnecessary travel and social contact during this time.

A new Reopening Advisory Board has been formed. The board brings together members of municipal government, public health officials, and business leaders from across the commonwealth to advise the administration with best practices and guidelines on how and when to reopen the state for normal business. The board members are as follows:
